KA975 CERAMIC LOW PRESSURE AIR DIFFUSER FOR BUBBLE AERATORS

 BUBBLE AERATORS WITH AIR STONES

Battery operated bubble aerators are an inexpensive way to keep bait alive in small containers. They are an entry point for anglers looking to purchase an inexpensive aerator to maintain small amounts of bait for short periods of time. They provide gentle aeration, but are inefficient because of non-uniformed bubble pattern and coarse bubble size in air stones. Cost is the primary factor in producing air stones that are packaged with your aerator. They sustain less bait per unit of air than a high quality, low pressure ceramic diffuser, producing smaller bubbles.

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR THE SERIOUS ANGLER!

DELIVERY SYSTEMS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF BUBBLE AERATORS

If a bubble aerator is your decision, utilize a low pressure ceramic diffuser. KeepAlive manufactures a low pressure ceramic diffuser with micro bubbles that dramatically improves the efficiency of a bubble aerator. They are expensive in comparison to air stones because of the intensive manufacturing process, but if a bubble aerator is your only option in maintaining fish, then purchase a high quality bubble aerator and couple it with the KeepAlive KA975 Low Pressure Ceramic Diffuser. If properly maintained, your low pressure ceramic diffuser will provide for many years of efficient service.

KA975 Low Pressure Ceramic Diffuser $49.95

Our KA975 low pressure ceramic diffuser operates at 2 psi, and produces a uniformed bubble pattern with micro bubbles that dramatically improves the efficiency of a battery operated bubble aerator.

With proper care, your investment in a low pressure ceramic diffuser will provide many years of service as you replace worn out bubble aerators. Keeping your bait healthy and lively is the key to enjoyable fishing!

When using pure oxygen systems for surf fishing or maintaining bait, a quality battery operated bubble aerator coupled with our KA975 ceramic diffuser, is a perfect companion to provide degassing of CO2 when external power supplies are an issue. Neither system requires external power.

The KA975 is also ideal for use in maintaining expensive tropical fish and koi.

KA975 Comes complete with 1 hose and hose barb adapter to accommodate bubble aerators.

USING YOUR LOW PRESSURE CERAMIC DIFFUSER

Soak your diffuser for 10 minutes before attaching your air hose to the diffuser hose barb. This will reduce the dynamic wet pressure (DWP) and allow the diffuser to immediately start producing the fine micro-bubbles.

LPDiffuserI hooked a KA975 diffuser up to a Mr. Bubbles air pump and put that in and on a 50 quart ice chest. I bought a pint of good looking brown shrimp (40 or so in this case) and had the bait girl use their vat water. She gave me about 5 gallons of water in my chest and dumped the pint of shrimp in. I loaded the ice chest up, turned the pump on and headed out. Bad water kept me from wetting a hook and I drove back home. Five hours after I bought that pint of bait I opened the lid on the ice chest and spent the next 5 minutes chasing down shrimp that were continually popping out of the ice chest. I finally had to drain the water just to get a handful. I've fished live shrimp religiously since I was 6-8 years old and I am 62 now. I have never seen live shrimp this pumped up, and after 5 hours in the same hot water. And note there wasn't one dead shrimp in the bunch. The KA975 designer did a good job. These shrimp were also very firm and turning that reddish color that big trout around here cater to. Thanks for being there.

MAINTAINING YOUR LOW PRESSURE CERAMIC DIFFUSER

Remove the diffuser from the water and leave your bubble aerator operating. Place the diffuser face down on a paper towel. The aerator will push out any remaining water and debris that may have clogged the pores in the diffuser. This will ensure that the diffuser has dried cleanly and provide years of efficient service.

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DIFFUSER TO DRY WITHOUT BLOWING AIR THROUGH IT TO ELIMINATE CLOGGING!
